OK, a serious one not involving pooping:
Before attempting to turn ANY stubborn bolt, figure out likely trajectory of hand should the bolt shear or come free. Pad objects in line of hand trajectory (if any) with shop towels or cardboard.
Bruises are better than cuts. YMMV.

Bill, I read your account of how that happened... and I agree that it's too perfect to clean up. Have you considered sealing it in with some clear epoxy, to preserve it for posterity?

You could always tell unsuspecting guests that you left those marks getting to the kitchen upon hearing that your favorite meal was ready...

never start a car after you've replaced the fuel injectors without checking for leaks with the fuel pump jumpered.
amazing how far gasoline will spray through a poorly seated o-ring at 50 psi.
(no i didn't start it, just making sure no one else does it)

When updating, rewiring the wiring in your garage do not depend soley on what is written on your circuit breaker box for cutting power. Someone might have run one line from your dining room circuit into the middle of all the other lines. You might discover this while 5 rungs up on a ladder. The fall WILL NOT hurt as much as the shock. This code updated, confirmed 5/30/04

Anyone worked out how to replace the spare wheel back into its housing? Everytime I do this I have flash backs to the time my finger got wedged in with the wheel and the finger nail shredded on that metal tab that holds down the wheel cover - Yeeeeeoowch. (and a lot of blasphemy)
