If the flywheel is preloaded then you want to check the free play after you have relieved the preload .

Default Update

Checked flexplate movement forward and aft while waiting for replacement rear pinch bolt from Roger. Plated moved in both directions with solid click.
Wire brush and little wd40 removed light surface rust easily. Once bolt arrives later today will button her up and be ready for another 10 years of worry free driving.

1. TB/WP SERVICE COMPLETED ON 02/21 @ 6. 4 YEARS 52K MILES. Milage on car 148k. (Both items looked great. Personally believe that I could have gone 8 years 70 I miles given my location and driving habits. I also installed PK Tensioner in 2013, its is still working flawlessly.)
ALSO REPLACED PLUGS, WIRES, ROTORS AND CAPS AT SAME TIME. MAF CLEANED
2. TRANS-P/S-/BRAKE-/RADIATOR FLUIDS FLUSHED 16 MONTHS AGO. ALTERNATOR/P/S-/AC BELTS CHANED ALSO. OIL CHANGE COMPLETED
3. ALL FUSES, RELAYS DE OXITED 7/05/23
4. AIR FILTER REPLACED 10 MONTHS AGO.

Constantine's 10 year old Super Clamp looks good as new!

I've said this before:
Constantine's clamp is very robust and certainly eliminates any chance of front torque tube migration.

Fantastic part!

Yes Greg, and his TT bearings are great too..... I might also mention that the PK tensioner AND YOUR Formula 1 recommended racing fuel lines I installed in 2015 completes the package and give me 110 percent peace of mind on every drive!!

smear some DC111 on the exposed metal surfaces and you will never see any more rust appear,
make sure to put some on the nick in the drive shaft ,
NOTE this nick can cause a stress riser where the shaft will shear and a small spot rust can start this .

NOTE WD 40 is not a long term lubricant or protectant,
you could also spray it with Fluid Film or wipe it with grease .
the DC111 is the best thing to use IMHO

Actually there is a long lasting WD 40.

I never saw that stuff before, might get a can to test it

The DC111 will stop moisture till you remove it,
if you have not used it you dont how well it works
it also works well for stopping the rust under the quarter windows,
inject it under the edge of the rubber,
no more corrosion till you remove it.
It also preserves rubber parts and O rings.

I had a can of the WD rust preventive and will check out things in a year. I left the two back bolts out just sealed the holes with silicon.
