They're already suspect, because they didn't mention that the 4wd does not work on their list of problems.

On the newer Audis it does and this is probably what brought on the misconception. Mercedes Benz uses 4Matic.

I'm betting it goes for less than $10k. Probably more like $8k. Looks like there are other issues not mentioned:
Center console- loose shift boot, ashtray askew
right rear wheel- missing center cap
clear-coat on the sunroof doesn't look right. bad photo reflection?
rear driver's side seat is misshapen like something was stored long-term in the car.
Is the front spoiler missing?

I'll take the pneumatic pump though.

I think it's the 911 Carrera 4's that confuse people. At least three times I've had people ask about the AWD.

The seller is a "broker" and states they do not have the car nor have they inspected the car but upon receiving the $205 non-refundable deposit they will introduce the "buyer" to the "seller" .........sale is AS IS . Does not mean it is a bad car !!

Anything is possible. How much you wanna spend?

Couple of ways to approach 4WD on a 928. Either would be some decent cash. Though I like transplanting the AWD off a V8 S-Class Benz the best.
But that's just me.

When I was selling my 928 I got into an argument with a guy who INSISTED that the S4 was all wheel drive. I kept telling him it wasn't. He had told me the Porsche dealer in his city told him that's what S4 meant. He wouldn't believe me and I think he really began judging me because I kept telling him it was rear wheel drive. I don't know if it was him, the dealer, or both, but people are really misinformed about this car. Anyways, I caught him offguard when I asked him "so what does S3 mean?"
