Default Warning lights not working - advice needed

The warning lights on my '87 s4 doesn't work.
I removed and inspected my warning light module and found a burnt out resistor. I tried fixing it, but no luck. A friend gave me another module that also didn't fix the issue, so I ordered a new unit from Mark at 928 International.
Unfortunately that also didn't restore the warning lights.
What do I do / check next?
Thanks

@Mrmerlin Finally got some garage time. I checked the fuses, and they were fine. I replaced hem #7 and #10 for good luck. I also removed and refitted the new warning light module to make sure I have the connectors in tight.

Unfortunately I still have no warning lights.

Any more suggestions? Thanks

Remove the module and check you've got battery voltage on the module connector, you can also ground the pins going to the dash and see if the bulbs light up to see if all is OK in that direction. You'll need the wiring diagram to figure out the pins.

are all of the plugs inserted along the bottom of the CE panel ?
fit the modules in another car if you can to test them.
What was the last thing that was done when the lamps were working?, has anyone messed with the CE panel?
Use the WSM WD to diagnose the connector pins on the modules for power and ground

The warning lights have never worked from that I got the car.
@Mrmerlin What are the plugs along the bottom of the CE panel you refer to? If CE panel refer to where the fuses and relays are, them mine is in pretty good shape. I did not see any obviously loose connectors.
Electrically, all that doesn't work - except for the warning lights - is some of my passenger seat adjustments.
I checked the warning light globes in the cluster when I was in there in December.
Looks like the next step is to check the power and earth as you suggest.
Pity the module is in such an inconvenient place in a RHD

the plugs supply power to the systems in the car, its possible the power wire could be damaged , pinched by the wood panel, or disconnected from the connector
