Default New Mahle piston rings gap for 5.0 S4.

I'm in the process of re assembling my 5.0 engine, and now in the process of inserting the pistons, I'm using brand new rings from Mahle and I just test-fitted the first compression ring, the gap was right at 13 thou (0.33 mm), is that the correct gap for a stock cat 1 pistons? .. I searched all over the forum and also the WSM but can't find any indication of the factory ring gaps.

thanks guys, that was exactly what I was looking for. one more thing that I need to know more about : Can I re-use the lower case nuts by adding loctite and torque them to specs? .. I know the new nuts come with a dap of loctite already applied to them, so I thought what if I just applied 271 loctite to the old ones.

Nope, all hardware connecting the 2 halves of the block and the rod nuts are all 1 time use unless you want to revisit that part of the engine in short order

totally not true

WSM explicitly states Rod Nuts are one time use only.

Nuts and Bolts for the block/girdle/heads can be re-used. There is a specific mention of not oiling the head bolts and washers when torque is applied, but nothing about changing them for new items every time the engine is split...
