Very nice pictures Adam. I especially like the ones with the 928 hoods up. Of the four of those pictures it appears that 3 out of the 4 have the Jerry Feather Cowl Cover. Nice going. However, on further inspection of the pictures I notice a kind of discrepancy. In the yellowish/gold color car, (not Stan's), there is a discrepancy. Can anyone tell what it is? It relates to the Cowl cover, but that is my only hint.

In respect to the Yellowish car in the pictures; can anyone tell me what year that car may relate to. It relates to the earlier quiz.

Here is one for you. How many of you can tell the model year of a 928 by looking at the engine compartment? I think this car is an early 82 or earlier. That is as close as I can come.

I don't mean the take over this thread in any way, but I also think that these kinds of get-togethers are the correct place to kind of iron out these kinds of issues. What I propose is that for the first person here or there who can identify the discrepancy shown in the photo in question of the yellowish 928 I will award to them one of my 928 Jump Post Cover and Cap Kits. Their response must be the first one to enter the solution to me on my email: jfeather@bresnan.net. Then I will post the solution here. Also, I see that the solution to the issue may also involve some correction from me and I will also honor that. OH! That is also a hint.

Trying to figure out what year the 928 is? Older power steering reservoir. Engine looks like a 80 to 84 US Ljet. Not a double dizzy so not euro. I also see the vents for the brake ducts in the front spoiler so has to be 82 with competition package?

Tom, if you look more closely it might actually be a double dizzy. Or maybe not.
