Default Vacuum trouble

Hi

My center fresh air vent is not opening, and my hotwhater valve in the engine compartment is not closing..
There is plenty of vacuume on the black line that comes into the cabin, and there is also vacuum om the blue line..
When i pull the line from the vacuum container under the dash (blue line), it sounds like there is good vacuum in the container...

I actually testet the system a few weeks ago, and everything worked prefectly, when i set the slide to KLIMA, the center air vent opend perfectly..

i must have damagede something when i put the center console together

Where is the leak ?

The black line feeds a strip under the console that activates the different diaphrams. Section 87, page 104 in the manuals shows the schematic. You might have knocked one loose when you were in there. Good luck.

Your sure it's not electrical?

Might you have forgotten to plug one of the plugs into the head unit fully?

Or lost a fuse?

i think i found the problem..

This valve does not open, so the vacuum never comes into system..
is this a normal 928 problem ?

the valve is placed under the steering wheel..

There is plenty of electrical. If the silonoids that control the valves that move the vacuum never get any current, they never open. As a result, vacuum never makes it to the servos, and you've got your problem.

I'm not sure what that valve is except I can tell you my car doesn't have it.

My car would blow warm air all the time. After I cleaned up my fuse panel (check SharkSkin's site for more info!) things started working again.
