been waiting on piston rings for months, so decided to tackle the fuel lines. Injectors, dropped the tank and replaced the sender return line as well as the pump lines.
Found a cool Porsche exhibit as well at the Savoy museum.
Made some progress after getting the piston rings in from Deves, all pistons in and drivers side head on and torqued. Unfortunately the pass side headgasket had a dent in it so I decided to order a new one. :/
Beautiful car. Looking forward to more pictures. We are starting to accumulate quite a few 928s over here in GA. We need to find a PCA gathering on the north west side of town and make our presence known!!
Made some good progress, still struggling with the clutch. Needed a new stub shaft, and fork arm bushing.
upgraded to later crossmember, mounts and updated manifolds.
Congratulations, great work. It's pretty adventurous taking over someone else's engine teardown in progress. Were there any parts you needed that you weren't able to source?

Not that I recall, some of the gaskets from the victor reinz set were missing and/ or the wrong size. The bad one was the oil pickup tube oring. It just didn't fit right and low and behold it was the wrong one. Also the early motor mounts were crazy expensive. It was cheaper to replace the crossmember and use the later mounts.
autoatlanta had most of what I needed.
Need to make a few tweaks but it's running great. Need to play with ignition timing and put in the correct plugs. The ones I have in there are one range cold.
Also the cars and coffee Atlanta is this Sunday at 8am at Perc coffee, 2nd Ave and hosea, Atlanta. Hoping to bring it!
