Hmm, i havent seen that link before. it looks as if that SC also goes by the name of Whipple 3300R (aka a LYSHOLM twinscrew)
http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...0r_comp_lg.jpg
I looked into one of those...More dipslacement /rev 3.3L vs 2.3L. I think i was appx 3/4-1" into the hood line of the car. I didnt want to mess with adding a hood scoup or bulge.
Hey, Mr Lockhart, you have room!

The fastest car in the world (?) uses a Lysholm...
One of the fastest, if not the fastest production cars in the world uses a twin-screw. The ford GT has a 3.3sec 0-60. Car and Driver claims only the Enzo is faster. I guess that makes it the fastest car in the world for under half a million.
I think this is a good time to post the link to the Ford GT engine annimation again. CLick Here to see basically how my sytem works.

Black or Silver, I'm sure you will do it well Tony...
Thrilling piece of work you have put together Andy...
I think I would be most excellent to see a working rendition at SITM. So who will be sporting a Supermodel?? ...inquiring minds would like to know.
I'm sure Jeannie would be curious as to not be ousted from the throne... but can she compete with a Whipple?

j/k... I have a lot of projects with priority and frankly, it will be a year or so before I'm ready to pull the trigger. But I'm very interested, and will watch all developments with great interest.

Jadz,
Thanks for the kind words. The SITM deal is top secret for now.
SharkSkin,
Sorry man, I can spend my time designing and delivering superchargers for the 928 or I can update my website.
drnick,
Yes I will be using those.
Dr Wolfgang,
I see that you have returned. Please keep your exclusive brand of constructive criticism to yourself. Should Tony paint his intake red I will have to reposses it.

Tony did you move the expansion tank? Not a lot of room there, and ... where is the fresh air coming from?
The air is drawn in from the right fender area, behind the wheel. You yank that big washer tank out of there and there is actually quite a bit of room. I made a card mock of a cone filter that would fit, then ordered the appropriate size. Before comitting to the "hard" aluminum tubing, I used flexible dryer pipe when trial fitting . For good measure I added a louver (a home depot HVAC grill) to the wheel well liner to get a better "gulp" of air.
It will be painted black soon enough.
Im going to add a small baffle behind this to eliminate any chance of water injestion. The air will make the turn, the water wont.

andy,
i guess you really are building a manifold for the 16 v cars, and you plan to keep the spider? i think there is more room in the vee than on the 32v cars, will you mount the blower lower down? cant wait to see a pic..

Yes drnick,
I expect to be done w/ the first 16V manifold in a week or two. The majority of the actual fab work is being done by a machine shop.
