Default custom forged S4 pistons

I'm planning on getting a set of forged pistons to my iron sleeved S4 block. anyone got a CAD file of the original piston so I can send to a piston manufacturer?, usually who do you go to for a set of forged pistons for an S4 engine?

I have all my custom forged pistons made by CP/Carrillo, in Southern California.
Talk to Jerry Roche.
You won't need a CAD file...they have it, from making my pistons.
They will supply the wrist pins, wrist pin circlips, and the correct rings for your iron sleeve (you will need to tell Jerry you are using an iron sleeve.)

Thats exactly what I was looking for, thanks Greg! .. any idea how much a set of 8 pistons would cost?, I hope they will be sub $2K.

I'm not sure.
I don't pay any attention to what parts cost...I'm only concerned about using the highest quality pieces I can find.
And prices of everything, everywhere have increased fairly significantly.

I asked the boss (my wife Mary) and she said that our last retail price was $2500.....which is about what I she thought you will pay, from C/P Carrillo.

CP-Carrillo doesn't list 928 parts in their online catalogue currently. Guess contacting them directly is the only way.

From what I see for the cost of 911 pistons from them $2500 for a set of 928 pistons is really reasonable. Definitely less than OEM 968 pistons...

If you are going through the pain of installing custom forged pistons, use it as an opportunity to bump up the compression ratio. The S4 can handle a lot more compression with a decent map. My GTS race car is running forged JE pistons with 12:1 compression. No detonation on european 99/100 RON fuel. I am guessing that would be 95+ US MON?

Oh what I could build if we had "real" fuel.
The refined monkey **** we have, at the pumps, limits things....

That "Monkey ****" left to 'sit' in the 928 Fuel Tank does some serious Transmutation into 'roof tar'.
