Such a loss to the 928 community. I met him in Pittsburgh last summer at Rendezvous and I believe he was behind me on the fun run and talking with him and thanking him for his posts here.
Rest in peace, Nate. Thought’s and prayers for his family.

I can't believe this. Nate was such a great guy and very helpful to the 928 community, whether it was with his 3D printed parts temp sensors, the lithophanes he made for everyone at the PVGP, or when I reached out to him for 3D printer recommendation.
I feel honored to have been able to meet him this year in Pittsburgh and so glad he made the cross-ccountry trek.
Rest in peace my friend where you can forever drive a perfectly running 928 that requires no maintenance.

OMG this is so sad. I met Nate in person in 2016 on a road trip, he took the time to meet downtown and just have a drink and a chat. Unbelievably great guy and he had such a love for the 928 and the 928 community.
RIP Nate…

I very sad to hear this news. I met Nat this year at PVGP. What an awesome guy and 928 enthusiast. My prayers go out to his family. He will be missed here. But, not compared to how much his family will miss him.

Devastating news. I am so sad. Nate has been such a great enthusiast to the 928 and car community. Always love his contributions here and on BaT.
He personally helped me taking his time to evaluate a car for me several years ago.
I have always felt he is one of the Rennlist community that I absolutely have to meet and have always thought we will have time to one day do it.
Such sad news and I will miss his infectious personality and love of life.
RIP

Nate was great!
His family mattered,
Bigger than life !
A Passion for everything he touched,
He added enthusiasm whenever he crossed paths with others.
I never knew he was a FTE maybe thats a secret.
I remember that parking lot meeting ,
and his detailing how far he really had gone to see all of us.
His project machine was up to the task no doubt.
God speed Nate.
Thanks for crossing my path.
May God Bless him and his family,
RIP Brother !

So sad to hear. I met Nate at the last SF, the one Greg and Mary did. and I ordered a handful of small parts he made for me. I wish I had known that he was an aviator. We must have had much more in common than just the 928. Farewell to a great Guy.

Nate was one of the people in this community that I really wanted to meet, now that I'm in this area of the country and I was very excited to have the chance at our get together yesterday. When we were informed about the incident I kept hoping that Nate was in hospital care somewhere. His enthusiasm for these cars and this community came through in every post and project and he will be dearly missed.
