1st drive yesterday / need some parts.
So after a year plus of bringing back the fire victim s4 I drove it for the 1st time. I listed it for sale a few weeks back and it is currently listed on market place but I am really second guessing it. I really liked how it drove. It needs adjustment of the kickdown cable and a few parts but thinking I will finish it and drive next summer and then possibly sell it or not..
Does anyone happen to have the front passenger side wheel liner components along with charcoal canistor? Those are the last major parts needed for the car.
I also want to thank Greg Brown for some sage advice to when I thought the trans was leaking, Mark Anderson for sourcing some great used parts, and Roger @928srus.com for great service. Very excited to have it drivable.
Here is a quick shot yesterday of 3 of the 4 Porsches in the family.

Nice group. I pick up a 944 S2 later this week myself to accompany my 914, pair of 928s, pair of 997s, and Cayenne and make a similar group.
The 928 when properly setup is a great driving car - hand onto it. Running 90 -95 mph yesterday whenever possible during the 450 mile drive home from Frenzy, I even averaged 18.5 mpg.
Now it's back at the airport for my business trip this week, as it's also my DD.

I am really on the fence.. it will get stored this winter and in Spring I will finish it up and drive it. I will list it for sale and see what happens but I think using it is the key.

Currently out of 914s, though I woke up from a dream recently where I realized I still had one stashed somewhere. At one point there were enough of them that I could have lost track. Just 944 and 928s for now.
