Default ECU Reset?

Hi all!

I've just finished a bunch of work on my GTS with lots of new parts chasing down high idle.

The car is back together and runs perfectly when started. It sits right around 650 rpm consistently at idle. After a few minutes of running it becomes rough and loses power if driving.

I don't have access to a Hammer so I'm wondering if the ecu needs to be reset and is it simply enough to unhook the ground for a while?

Any ideas?

Undoing ground is a full reset of learned values.

Manual.

I'll try the ground then. I'm kind of at a loss on this one.

So, have you observed the ignition protection relay?
And what work did you do? Have you had the injectors cleaned and tested?

Here's a partial list...

new cam cover gaskets
knock sensors
oil neck gasket
vacuum lines
tps
throttle position switch
coolant level sensor
heat sensors
check valve
intake gaskets
powder coated the intake and covers
new rebuilt maf
diverter valve from intl.
and some other things

and cleaned the injectors with all new o-rings.

I'll find the relay on the board and check it. Added to my list.

Thanks!

I did.

Did a setup that I could spray cleaner through them to make sure they had a good spray. Could be I didn't do a good job.
