My favorite among the current Ferraris shown at the museum. "Barchetta" means little boat - notice the chines? 166 is Ferrari-speak for displacement per cylinder - always 12. The gearshift **** is labeled in Roman numerals, with "RM" for reverse - "reversimendo"? You make up what you don't know when you're a docent. The photo on the stand shows the car in a GP at Watkins Glen; it has a racing CV four pages long.

For (maybe) obvious reasons I am very partial to these cars, as well:
I'm not obsessed with them like I am with the 928 but I always like looking at them, and the original Mk1 GTI, and think that the Scirocco would look great parked next to a 928.
