How bad is it to remove the smog pump?

Because it's still in working order it was removed with all associated parts along with the 40 year old catalytic converters (in exchange for new units).

I placed them in a box that says: "In the event California invades, install these parts"

This way I'm not scrambling to find functioning outdated pieces if needed to keep my car legal.

As long as you are not a hypocrite and bitch about pollution, climate change, or even begin to believe in the bullsh!t about electric cars.

Hi all. Not to jump in and change direction but my pump is currently not hooked up. Does anyone have pics/parts of the pet for all the parts/hoses that can be removed if someone decides to remove the pump?
