Default WTB 87-91 5 speed condenser

anyone parting out a 5 speed with a good condenser? Already checked with 928 Intl, Roger and DC Auto. I'm in texas so I don't want the auto version as its smaller.

Ahh..there's a difference between "cant find" and "they dont sell"...i see now.

What do you mean cheaply made?

If I was in a pinch, I would buy what I could, it will work fine.

I'm short on details but doesn't Greg B. have a slick update for this? Maybe that would go a long way to supplementing the smaller auto condenser version.

Like I said, I don't know the details so if I'm way off, I apologize.

Good luck

Yes, I have it. You add a 2nd condensor where the window washer tank is.

You can land santa on Xmas morning in Nebraska in my black on black S4.

A -little bit- larger condenser for the 5spd still doesn't make a GOOD dual evaporator S4 A/C system work well...just not enough condenser heat exchanger capacity to do it...Greg's add on condenser drops high side refrigerant temperatures 40 degrees just sitting in my garage running. Thats a giant help.

But he only sells to you if you take a blood oath to him, and can't be friends with any other vendors that he may or may not get pissed off at a future date & I have a single evap system now so the 5 speed one will work fine. I have one but its all banged up. Just looking for one in good condition. someone has to have one somewhere.

He doesnt sell this kit.

It requires installation, its about a week's worth of work...dont get caught up in the politics, and you'll have great vendor support from all corners.

Just like every other single vendor they say they can get it from Porsche but they don't know the number has been superseded to the number for the auto's.

I purchased one from Griffiths, and what a piece of dung. Holes in the wrong places for the lower mounts and it's not even flat. Wonky as hell.

Back in the hunt for a used one. again.
