RIP DR.
Remember meeting with DR and Jeannie at Frenzy 6 I think and then Frenzy 7 and possibly OCIC 2004. More welcoming and nicer people you could not meet. A sad loss to the 928 Community and the world in general. Will be remembered appropriately over here in OZ.

RIP
Jeannie: Death may end a life, but it doesn't end a relationship, as I am sure you are aware. May the transition from grief to fond memory be merciful. I know it is hard. This long list of condolences is testament to how many lives the two of you together have touched.

Jeannie - you and David are genuinely one of the only reasons I became a 928 owner because of your business and the family of owners you helped create. I am so sorry for Dave's passing and your loss. Please know there is a large safety net of 928 family who care about you both. You are in my family's hearts and prayers. I will see you in June!

So sorry to hear about his passing. The few times I had the pleasure of having discussions with him he was great. A 928 legend has definitely been lost.
While now is the time to mourn, you should all be celebrating the life he lived during SITP. It's what he deserves, being remembered for all he has done for so many on this board and elsewhere.

David was big long before the Big 3 existed. He had the biggest heart, the biggest smile and the biggest and best laugh.
Hard not to love him. Jeannie can attest to that.
He freely offered 928 related advice. He had my back with my first 928 purchase back in 95. Not sure I could have survived the first purchase without him.
His best advice still rings in my ears today: "Kevin, these cars come apart one way and they go back together one way."
I still remember the visits when Jeannie and Dave lived in Kennesaw, GA. The three of them - including Wolfie - I hope I remember that right.
So, we lost not only a person special to this group but very special to anyone that was fortunate to cross paths with him.
I miss him every day but I do have some awesome memories like freezing my *** off on Grandfather's Mountain for SITMs past.
And lastly, he was the first person I ever heard say 'Yeppers' and my personal favorite - 'Anyhooters'

So sorry to hear this sad news. While Dave & Jeanie barely knew me, you’ve always treated me as nothing but a close friend… A finer man could not be found and a nicer couple is unheard of… RIP my friend. We’ll be down for the ceremony.

Jeannie, Heather and I are devastated to hear of Dave's passing. We're so sorry for your loss.
Without you and David helping to calm my nerves, and give me guidance (as well as your friendship) I would have never have been able to own my '89 GT. Back in '99 when I first called you for parts and advice, you both gave me a warm welcome. I can't stress enough how important you both were to me. I love you both dearly, and I will forever miss Dave.

our condolences to Jeanie and family......know that I, as others have mentioned, truly appreciated the advice Dave and team provided in our formative 928 years, with many parts still in operation to this day.
