That's interesting, I have a 718 too and thought there's not much in it. The cabin is slightly more forward and nose is shorter on the 718 of course for the engine location but overall dimensions are within a few inches.
I feel lower down in the Cayman and the drive is way different - wish PDK could be fitted to the 928 but I appreciate the latter for what it is which is why I have one.

Amazing, Nate, thanks for posting.

Once in a while I wonder if I should have bought a 2nd 928... Now, I realize it's just a well I did! :-)

I am amazed how small the 928 has become!

The site has no W140 Mercedes S-class, no air cooled 911's, no R129 SL-class, etc.

Very nice site idea though. Too bad there's a lot of essential classic models missing.

I was amazed that 2019 S-class is almost as big as the Ford Fairlane.

Was going to make a new thread, but saw that we'd already kind of discussed it before. 928 vs 992. Remember when the 911 guys thought the 928 was too big?

About a month ago, I had a 992 turn in front of me at a stop sign, and was following it down a fairly narrow rural road.

Suddenly, I realized THAT "911" is larger than my 928 GTS. Had the same thought about 'remember when the 911 guys----'

Neat site, thanks Nate.

Gary

The 928 didn't replace the 911, the 911 replaced the 928.

Most new car 911 buyers are 55 and older, so it should be a little bit comfy…..
