I am trying to disable the dash warning anti lock differential off message on my 1990 s4 . Everything works as expected with the system so I just want to switch off the warning message .I understand that if you disconnect pins 3 and 9 from the controller under the dash that this may work ? if anyone has done this and if you have any photos of the exact location of this controller and the 2 pins to disconnect that would be very helpful.
Hi I don’t have a diagnostic tool for this car but I have checked a lot of the known items so far and spent a lot of time on it including abs sensors , grounds wiring psd flush, relays etc .abs work fine as does the psd so I am at a loss as to why it’s still causing the warning message which I want to try and disable or disconnect from the controller that sends the message to the dash
