Pizza,
I will head that way tomorrow and get back to you. I will take a lot of pics.
Does your wife need some where to stay - we are very accommodating in Texas!!!
Tim,
Need any help with the pick up. Need a lift from the airport?
Let me know.
Roger

I've got the ride from DFW covered, but I wouldn't mind meeting a fellow shark borne rennlister. Keith is picking me up, and most likely I'll stay over with him.

Did you see the Euro when you were over there? What'd you think of it?

Incidently, I think it is the same color as the 911 on the cover of Panorama this month (just got my first copy).

Wow, if those "chrome wheels" are really worth 3k, then I got stunked for 300 dollars on my chrome ones. (same S4 flats)

Hi Beth:

Remember the Solido 928 you ordered from my store? That's the same color. It's called "minerva blue".

This car is in pretty good condition. I'm not sure, if I like the blue interior with that bright blue exteriror. Note that it still has the wide rear seats of the early manual transmission cars

No, that's called "freakinblau."

It appears to have 8" S4 rear wheels, too.

Car looked pretty good for an 81.
I am 99% certain the paint is original. Looked everywhere for lines could not find any. If the car was repaints they stripped everything out of the car. I looked under the sunroof motor cover and the same blue.
Car has a borla exhaust after the standard cat - sound pretty good. There is a small hole in the exhaust which Keith will have welded.
I have a lot of high res pics if any body wants to see them. PM me with email address. Pizza has them all already.
Keith says he will change the a/c to 134 before delivery as well.

I'm very jealous of the new owner, who ever that may be. It really sucks to have the first right of refusal on 2 euro 928's, and I haven't even driven a 928 yet. Keith did the 134 conversion on my 944 (the charging part) I know about the expansion valve, drier, etc.. I didn't change them out, that was my own decision. I will warn you, expect to have thaw out when you exit the vehicle. It gets hot in Texas, and I have no tint on the windows.

New owner? Did someone buy it? Looks to me like the auction is still going on. It really is a gorgeous and unique car. (Personally, I can't wait till we pick up our new Crystal Green '85 - it's the prettiest car in the whole world). But this one looks almost as good.

Tx, I still want your puppy!!!

How about a trade Beth? The 85 for the puppy? She has grand national championships in her blood lines, both mother and father.
