Have your OE radio refreshed. It will sound better than most digital amp units made today...my OE -certainly- sounds better than the Porsche Classic $1400 head unit they sell today.
https://creativecaraudioshop.com/ rebuilt mine, and he has a nice BT unit he can integrate into these now.

Becker, which has always been considered a premium radio, has made several that were either OE for Porsche, or available as premium.
The CDR220 is pretty close to vintage correct for the later cars and was OE. IF you can get a code from a dealer,I like the appearance of the CDR 22. A bit more difficult to obtain, but the Becker DTM High Speed radio/CD player that was only sold in Europe looks and sounds great. It is often sold on German or UK eBay. The AM on that radio is pegged to European frequencies (spaced at 9 kHz, while US is at 10 kHz between stations). Thus, there are probably a few AM stations in each locality that aren't received well. I've had it in 2 cars, and that's no problem, as I don't listen to any AM stations. They have internal amps and accept an aux cable (CD changer, etc.).
The Becker DTM originally sold in Europe for about $1500 (early 2000's). Currently good condition used ones are $200 -$400.
Here is a link to a brand new one for about $300 shipped (they came with different color displays): https://www.ebay.com/itm/38344505944...oAAOSwQhRgjrwl

I know it's a little off topic, but I don't know why that unit is so expensive in the US market. Below is what I paid for mine when I lived in Germany. And on top of that, I had the 19% VAT removed. So in total, it was ~670 euro; or about $750 greenbacks. It is a US (freq) version. I only offer this in case someone wants to try and haggle a lower price as the profit margin is huge.

Takes longer to get here but it is worth it for the cost savings.

I've been looking at a single DIN Android stereo with an 8" screen that floats out from the unit. There are various positions so you can pick what switches/controls get blocked. I bought a double DIN ATOTO for another vehicle and have been pretty impressed with it.
