i doubt that the ignition advance changes with temp ?
I assume it is still ( '81 ) with distributor and ignition unit ? So no ECU with temp sensors ?

PS with FD i meant fuel distributor

Does your setup have the Auxiliary Air Valve in addition to the WUR? That's what controls the idle. It starts closed and as the car warms up opens to allow more air in leaning the mixture and lowering the idle. It has an electrical connector and gets 12v which is what causes the inside valve to open with time.

Also, does your distributor have both an advance and retard port or just an advance port. With a supercharged motor, installing one with both, if you hook a vacuum line to the advance port and vent the retard port to atmosphere with a one way valve, you can actually push on the advance port with boost to retard the timing. This is how I have my supercharged K-Jet 928 setup. It also has a full time wideband AFR gauge and I have the AFR perfect under all conditions.

This one has the Digital Ignition, so no manual adjustment. There is an air temp sensor on the Intake manifold.

I pulled and tested the AAV it looks good, and the Cold start Valve is not leaking.

So, is this an L-Jet setup with the air temp sensor and not a K-Jet setup?

This is a K Jet ... we see FD,WUR etc.... i suppose being a turbo , that air temp sensor on the inlet is to retard ignition in case of to hot air .
