Default A little help please. ('88 caliper seals)

Having problems finding the dust boots for a 1988 928 front caliper.

Any of our trusted 928 parts vendors here will/can gladly supply you with the correct parts for your 928.

I received 4 sets of caliper rebuild kits from 928srus for the front and all have dust boots too large.

You've got an '88 - that use the scraper seal, rather than the dust boot.

See attached service bulletin for details - scraper seals were up to early '89 (VIN cutoff in the bulletin - KS860282 was the first with dust boots instead of scrapers - see p4). RoW 89 seem to all have dust boots.. US market got the leftover parts once again)

as mentioned to the OP by PM details of tech changes per model year are fully captured on the service bulletins rather than the more general info via WSM and PET.

The service bulletins were available on Jims CDs........contact Roger for availability.
