Going to try and make it this year, cars needs to stretch it's legs, don't think I even put 2,000 miles on it last year. Getting second Pfizer vaccine Friday, so good to go!.
Adam - what if you have business to conduct? You have some wheels to pick up here....
That might work. I have a numbered company that is classified as automotive which is an essential service. But if they see my car with me and my son, a tent and food they may not buy the story.
Curt - You need a Walter White Pork Pie hat to go with that Chevy. Go around Frenzy walking up to people "Say my name!"
I think I'll still have my 928 for the month of June. In fact, I'll bring some parts with me and use one of your lifts to put them on. List may include an AC compressor, PS high pressure hose, air pump belt and intake hose, reinstall the diverter valve and crap on the right side of the engine. Depends on how much I try to do before the trip.

The only episode of Breaking Bad I've watched was with Shawn at the last Camp 928. He apparently was bingeing it at home at the time, and thought I should be introduced to it. I should binge it myself sometime - then I'd understand the references!
The clean-up for this year's event is underway. I finished welding in a new floor pan for the Studebaker in Stall #1 this week, re-installed the engine in the Unimog shed Wednesday, and it's now in Stall #2. I've swept up its voluminous droppings in #1 and scrubbed the tiles to where a dog could eat off of them. I retrieved the Saab from across the road this morning, restoring Stall #1 to its intended showroom role. I think there's a hydraulic reservoir for the rear part of the top I need to find and fill. The 928 doesn't need anything! Nothing vital, that is, or even preventative. Not much driving lately - the weather has been horrible. Need better weather before getting out the Bugeye - always the last one.
The county is paving the road next week, just for you guys. Seven weeks to go!
I'm pleased to announce that I got the Studebaker to run well enough to get it the hell out of the garage. I actually did some work on the 928 last week; the faulty parts will be thrown into the campfire.
Anyway, things are looking fairly normal around here. The border with Canada is still not normal, but I hope a few of you can sneak across. I'm sure we can find some essential business to conduct...
Those who may be coming for the first time can find some information on the website, http://camp928.com/. The three previous events were documented in three threads here:
Curt - I am seriously bummed that I will not be able to attend this year - my daughter has a soccer tournament in Burlington VT that weekend. I thought about sneaking away between games, but dismissed that as a "bad idea".
Our neighbor to the south stupidly set fire to large brush piles on Sunday - dry and windy conditions. Left them unattended on Monday, and they spread over 40 acres before rangers stopped it, including 5 acres of ours. Got within 75 feet of the cabin up on the ridge, which is where this vehicle is parked. Forest fires here don't go up into the crowns like in California, but they do go down into the duff and roots - still burning, and may keep burning until winter. They'll be running a bulldozer around the perimeter.
Might have burned right up to our house and Camp 928 Headquarters if the wind was more northerly. I had the guy pegged as a bad neighbor, but too distant to bother us. He found the one way....
I might not make it this year . We sold our home in Mass , and just signed to buy a home in Maine. 4 PODS of furniture starting to be delivered and unloading June 21! I have the prior week to get the interior painted and sorted before furniture arrives😬 !

Paint correction on the Caprice would be easier....

Looking forward to joining the camp.
Sure - let's do that. If I recall, it's easier if the upper rear bolts of the cover have already been removed (and thrown into your box of 'extra' 928 parts). We'll quite possibly need new exhaust pipe bolts and gaskets.
I recently acquired a dial indicator for this sort of thing.
