Default Jim Bailey- all good

I just had a long chat with Jim. He no longer has his 928 but he's still playing with cars and staying healthy.

Sheesh. Any time I see a person's name as the sole thread topic I think the worst.

Glad he's still around.

Jim is one of the reasons why there's a 928 in my garage. Along with Mark, having 928 International nearby was a key factor in the purchase decision. Jim was the front man for the company for many years. He moved on and pursued his acting dream, more club racing in his very-brown 928, fostered his daughter into a TV series about cars, and is a genuine all around nice guy. He was also a very active and prolific member of this community for a long time. His extensive knowledge of the cars and pieces it needed was unparalleled, and his famous "relay-relay-relay" mantra is even more relevant to day than it was all those years ago when he shared it first.

Just can't say enough good about Jim.

Tell him he needs to pop back on here from time to time.

Mark glad to hear is doing well. I remember talking to him several times and was able to guide me in the right direction. Meeting him at the Shark Fests that I had attended he was still great help and full of knowledge. Missed him when he retired.

Thanks for the update.

Jim is a great guy. I recall several conversations with him when having work done on my '87 928. Also say hello to him. A good guy.

I always have a bad santa with a bikini girl whenever I see his posts. Love his info and thoughts on just about everything, but maybe his avatar was what I was after :-)!
Happy New Year!

My parents really enjoyed telling me about meeting Jim, when picking up parts for me on a trip to the US many years ago

They will be happy to hear that he's doing well
