Default Impressions on a 330mm steering wheel?

I'm looking at purchasing a 330mm Momo wheel and was curious if anyone has tried this size wheel in their sHarK?
I think the stock wheel is 370mm. So we're talking about a wheel 1 1/2" smaller.
I had a 350mm Momo fighter once before and was very satisfied.

Your impressions are appreciated...

In attempting to catch 'spring fever', anticipating disappearance of snow, etc., I've looked and read a bit re. replacement steering wheels: The majority opinion, as I've seen it, strongly leans to 350mm diameter in whatever flavour you prefer.

Garth,
I imagine that would be true. I just couldn't turn down a the price for the Momo Club3. Won ebay auction
I have been looking for a well priced Momo Fighter for some time without any luck. The Club3 is my second choice, and the 330mm is a compromise of price. I already have the adaptor and P horn button.

If I don't like it, I will sell it.

Thanks for your reply.

That's pretty small. Steering effort would increase. I have a Club 4 and really like it. It's about 14" (355mm). Looks stock too.

Jim - VERY good buy on the Club 3. Black out the horn trim ring and dye the red leather black and I think it would look even better.

the steering effort only goes up 10-12 % BUT at the same time it "turns" 10-12 % quicker for the same hand movement !! That I like .....plus more clearance for the knees . l

I'm interested in the leg clearance too. And hopefully I will actually be able to access the map tray. Might be good for AX too.

Bill,
I agree with you about redying the red. It may grow on me though, as I'm accenting my car w/red. Red S4 brakes, intake plenum, instrument/radio/switch illumination... and thats it, no more.
I think I will leave the horn trim ring in alum. That and an alum shift **** insert (w/GTS shift boot), and thats it, no more.

Oh wait, and maybe some of those trick red LED windscreen washer nozzles. NOT

Jim:

I'm not sure of its size, but I've got the Momo Millenium wheel and love it. It's slightly smaller than the stock wheel.

Dave,
Yea, I think the Millenium is 350mm. I used to have a Momo fighter 350mm, and loved it. I was my first choice, but couldn't find one for the right price.
I will post my impressions on the 330mm Club3.

Jim:

Have you checked www.vertexauto.com? Their Momo prices are pretty damn good.

Dave,
Sure did. The best price I could find for the Fighter was $200 (new), and most inquiries have turned up limited availability. Heck, I paid $175 for a Fighter 3 years ago. The Club3 is more than that new.
So, for a used Club3 ($92), P horn button ($42), hub adaptor ($55)
...not bad for $189.
