Today on the way back from Texas World Speedway (where was everyone?) I came across this fine 928 on the side of the highway. I think its the worst graphics I have ever seen on any car.

I think that's mostly reflection. There's all kinds of stuff falling out of the trees right now too. Yellow pollen dust everywhere.

a 928'er should be able to make a citizens arrest and have that car flatbedded to 928 Int. (under a cover) for disassembly before more people see it. The owner should be sent to Germany to sweep floors where 911s are assembled, until he knows what he did wrong.

My 5 year old co-pilot and I had great time at the races. At Home Depot, Steven Ko showed up without his car, a sad look on his face and a broken fan shaft assembly in hand. Appearanly his fan let lose just as he started it this morning. He didn't go to the races but just wanted to meet everyone.
Another 928 owner, Craig T. showed up in his 911 along with 2 buddies in highly modified 930 turbos. About 11:20 we decided to take off for the races. I had a nice talk with my son, explaining that those were not normal 911's and it would probably not be wise to try to keep up with them. After the first intersection, I heard a loud roar and a 2nd gear chirp and knew we would be driving solo to the track.
About half way there, just north of Hempstead, I spotted a nice blue s4 by the side of the highway, with the driver standing next to it. I pulled over and it was Jeff C. from Corpus who had driven up for the day and known via rennlist we would be passing through on highway 6. It was good to meet Jeff.
At the track George B. was there with his 928 (non-rennlister). George was working the race from several stories above the track in the airconditioned press boxes, and mentioned that we could probably slip in and watch from up there if we wanted to. We did just that and it was awesome. So we had 3 928's at the track.
The chicken-shark pictured above was on Highway 6 just north of Hempstead at Hwy 6 Auto repair. Sorry there were no for sale signs on it.
Melvin in Tomball, that explains a lot, I didn't say that. He'll probably join this tread soon and we'll all feel really bad....
Here's another thread on the day with links to pictures.

Hey Man,
As long as he keep's it clean, the body straight, mechanicals and suspension in a rightious condition I can live with it.
Why for all we know the car is being used as evidence in a Felony Graffiti case.
Now there have been reports of underage sheep abductions in Montana - indications are a really lumpy sheepskin cover on the pass. seat - and that's where I draw the line on acessorizing.
