Default fitting size

This has probably been asked before. However, I cannot find the reply.

1979 928 Could someone please tell me the thread sizes for the flare fittings on the accumulator. Accumulator part # is 0438170026. Yep, that one. Can someone please help, I need to get this car moved pronto or lose it.. Diameter of tubing would also be helpful. Way too long of a story to go into.

Thanks.

Just bypass the fuel relay so the pump can provide enough pressure. The accumulator is only there to assist in hot starts anyways.

Plug the rear hole if it has one and go on your way. It will work short term so you can fix it properly later.

Thanks for the reply. However, I need the thread size on the fittings so I can create a connection for the accumulator that does not exist. Didn't want to butcher everything. Just need to create a hose with correct fittings so I can get this thing to run before I lose it. Will worry about some sort of accumulator at another time. So, anyone know if the fittings are 12mm, 14mm, 16mm? I am not at the same location as the car and need/want to take made hose with me. Otherwise I would just measure the fittings on the ends of the lines. Thought someone might know and save me a lot of time and running back and forth.

Thanks

Not your primary concern at the moment, but that '79 fuel accumulator can be really challenging to source, or at least it was specifically when I was looking for one back in 2015.
