Johnny, I got out of the supercharging thing a few years ago. But with the pandemic I have lots of time on my hands, and still have lots of parts. If you are interested in supercharging, I am happy to help. How far do you want to go with this?? Simple stage one,, 400 to 450hp? or going all out? My car is stage 3 intercooled and sequential fuel and spark.... its stupid fast

One of our UK based friends and probably the most pre-eminent 928 personality in the UK has [or had] amongst his 928 collection a red 928 [S4 or GT] with an Albrex supercharger fitted when I saw it at his home quite a few years ago. This gent is pretty savvy and doubt he would have fitted rubbish to any 928 he owned. Where he got it from I am not sure- I have a feeling it was a home brewed affair.

Johnny.... I would not supercharge your car unless you are a mechanical person. It takes work and patience to get it right!! There is very little room for error.
The Rotrex supercharger is a very nice unit. Quiet, dependable, compact, etc .
I have the custom pieces... mounting brackets, silicone hoses, intake snouts, etc. The rest you would have to get yourself, like bigger injectors, sharktuner PEMS "from John" , and a rotrex supercharger, etc. All
are easy go get.
In short, I do not do complete Kits any more. I just set people up with the custom parts they need to do their own setup.

heres a picture of the setup I might be able to get thou at the minute the kit has been removed and the crank pulley and 42lbs injectors appear to be missing
cheers

looks like the fuel and spark chips are there. Injectors are easy to get, but that pulley may be difficult though.
John Speake there in the UK is the tuning guru....
that's a really big supercharger. You will need some kind a fan system of the radiator

Don't want to critic this set but....

isn't that blow off valve on the small side for such a supercharger ? ( blower surge ) i used a 2"....

and my BMW 850 started serious oil leaks all over his gaskets ….don't know for a 928 engine. ( i installed a belt driven Moroso vacuumpump to keep the engine at 100 gr vacuum. All oil leaks became air inlets . Works perfect. But more blow by in any (old ) engine will give oil leaks …..no ?

The car that Fred referred to is here in Cambridge and I tuned it. As I remember the kit was bought as a box of bits from Australia. It originally had a 'ninth' injector to get the WOT fuelling.
We removed that and fitted eight larger injectors. It was run at 5 or 6 psi to start with and then when the boost was increased there were quite a few problems keeping the hoses on place.

John,

It had the extra nipple that day when I visited you and the owner!

Must be some 10+ years ago- crikes!

I do not like the forced induction fans on the front of the radiator. That in part was why I thought Victor's concept was so neat as my after market twin fan setup would fit with such design. .

hi victor
yes the fan is also missing someone mentioned you have a nice solution or shud I be looking at some off the shelf dual push fan ?

and yes the crack pulley missing is a major concern

you happen to know of any sources for 42lbs injectors in case they can’t be found ?

I have a set of green top 42lb injectors I recently pulled off my SC setup for a different set. I would sell those.

Albrex kit used SC which is very old design. Rotrex SC is something like 20 years later setup. If car do not have to be "period correct" tuned I would not even think about Albrex.
