"Louie" Ott's GT has a new caretaker...
I am humbled and honored to purchase one of the more "Significant" 928's gracing the roads of America.
Special thank's go to Darien Nunn for his excellent care of the car we have agreed to nickname "Louie" in honor of its builder, Louis Ott. Massive respect goes to Mr. Ott for his creativity and craftsmanship in building this incredibly well balanced 928.
I have been interested in this car for over a decade and nearly purchased it last year, but unfortunately, I did not feel qualified to maintain it. Thanks to Dave K, my concerns were laid to rest and I am now confident that with his help, I will be a good steward of this "Beast".
I have no intentions of changing anything on the car and will maintain it exactly as it is, "a piece of 928 history".
Regards and safe travels to all...
Dave

Thanks guys!
And special thanks to Darien for catching Louie up on some maintenance and his cosmetic detailing of the entire car. Darien patiently explained the car's virtues to me over a period of several days. I'm not a fantastically talented mechanic. I can do basics, and my skills are expanding but this car is intimidating! Darien and Dave K. set my mind at ease that I could indeed become a qualified owner... I feel a bit guilty because I can't seem to wipe this silly grin off my face...
Here is another of my favorite shots of Louies beast in action!

Great going Dave! I'm glad you finally got her.
Darien lined me up with Louie a couple of years ago and we had just about struck a deal where I was trading him my 93 GTS and some cash to get it. Well, as things go sometimes I had a life event happen that caused me to take pause and I decided to hold off for a bit. Not too far down the road from there Darien was looking for another car and it worked out that he got it. I have seen the car a few times now and it is without a doubt a true BEAST! You are going to love it so enjoy!!

Thanks Friends!
Given the fact that this purchase has been made during the corona virus lock down, there is no way that I will be driving "Louie's Beast" any time soon. My plan is to wait an appropriate time for travel to be safe for myself and any co-driver that volunteers to make the trip/adventure to get "Louie". While I am celebrating the purchase, I am acutely aware that these are difficult times.
Deleted for Darien .
Given the dyno sheet below, I will have to approach driving this car with a massive amount of respect (603.1 hp and 531.5 feet of twist at the wheels).
