Oil Pressure Sender.

What causes the oil pressure gauge to go to max?

Short to ground, or open circut?

I can't tell by the wireing diagram, and I don't know which I'm looking for.

Open, I believe. - WSM 90 - 36.
Also, check thru pin #2 @ the multi-pin beside the under hood 12v terminal.
