Default Where I spent 200.00 today

So I bought my first euro 82 a year and half ago, got it running and drove it the first time last month. Needless to say I’m a fan. M28.11 motor is fun.

so I bought a 1983 928s that needs love, and so now I have two projects. 800.00 seemed worth it. M28.19 motor manual too

And finally this abomination was where I spent 200.00 today. Any thoughts?

Ok, you have my attention

Actually, I’m into the high back end, lol.
The vent holes? Was he putting a second engine back there?

I just looked up the m28.02 motor because that seemed odd. Looks like a euro motor!!!

so assuming it runs like the seller said it did it should be a 250 hp motor?

Interesting. Non original engine and no longer running K Jet or a Euro intake.

I think I saw that chop top on NY craigs for like 1500 bucks a few weeks ago. So great score! That really is one of the more interesting hunks of crap around! Especially for 200 bucks!

$350 worth of belly pan on the chop top - you could already be making money.

I could use a passenger side front fender and some of the bracketry.

I like it. Better condition than my cab when I got it, and a different approach than the usual 928 cab. Hard to tell in this condition, but the lines may actually be better. Looks like there is a soft top laying inside. Do you know what it it from? Honestly, owning a cab, I would tend to make a hard to for that car rather than a soft top. The soft top ends up with a lot of rattle and vibration and noise when up, which is not really what you want in a 928. Better make a nice hard top that is quiet and dry for when you want the top up. Which is almost all the time. There might be room under the rear hump to stow a two part hard top, which would be nice.

Thumbs up

Honorable mention to your 82 Euro as well! I really like the cars patina matched up with the wheels. Bad *** as far as I am concerned. Rebel car.

Rodger if I chop it up you would be missing out on thousands of thousands and more of part sales!!! Hahah

Mechanically it appears to be all there, previous owner says it was a running driving car before being stripped for its “resto mod” treatment. Going to bolt back in the rad and turn the key. Take that back the ignition has been screwdrivered out of commission.

anyone have any idea how hurt the performance would be going from the original CIS to the injector setup currently on it?

That looks like a huge parachute to keep the car at 65mph.
