For those attending Sharktoberfest, if you would like a 3D printed lithophane of a photo of your car then just email the photo to me at nayght@hotmail.com and I'll hand them out when we all meet up.
If you are not familiar with a 3D lithophane it is essentially an embossed photo who's features are determined by the thickness or thinness of the photo and become visible when held in front of a light source. Here is an example...

Darn fuel tank! I'm gonna need a little help to get her to Sharktoberfest. As of this morning, I'm looking for a fuel tank. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

I am new to 928 ownership, having recently purchased Hoi's petrol blue over cork 1979 (which has since spent considerable time at Precision Motorwerks!). I expect to be able to make it to a few of the events throughout the weekend. I do not need a hotel room, as I am local. Also looking forward to putting together cars, faces, internet handles and real names!

this just in via GB and added to OP:
Special guest Hans Lapine (son of designer Tony Lapine) will be attending and rubbing elbows with everyone. Hans was a "kid" when the 928 was being developed and was there, in the design studio, many days. He has some tremendous memories. Hopefully he will share some of these, with us. He has a 928, of course.
Alex Palevsky of 000 magazine will be attending....looking for future stories. (He also has an early 928!)
P.S. Out of town peeps...better book that disconted room at the host hotel now cause there going fast. (More info on 1st post) T

I'd like to be there. I'm getting the car ready for it's smog test, so no supercharger, intercooler, x-pipe, 52 lb injectors, etc. If I get it done in time, I'll make the trip in vanilla form....

Just booked my flight, planning on showing up Thursday afternoon.
