Question Where to find a 930 steering wheel?

I'm considering an '88 S4 but would like to have a 930 steering wheel installed, if I can find one. Anybody know a good source? I checked the websites for the Big Three without luck. I also checked eBay and the Rennlist Classifieds to no avail.

If anyone has another steering wheel recommendation, I'm all ears. I also liked the Momo Top Power.

Thanks.

Check out Pelican Parts. They have it along with the crest that goes in the middle. Also available through AJUSA. Great looking upgrade from what I've seen

Can you send links to the 930 wheel? I've dug around a bit at both places and couldn't find a 930 wheel...

Thx,

D

Ferris B,
Nice choice...the newer 930S wheel that you see installed in Gretch (above) is awesome. I went a little more economical route and bought a early 930 steering wheel off of eBay for $76.00....now....to install it
Best,
Tim

Hey Gretch, is the center section the horn, or is that out on the spokes?

Thx,

The center section is the horn pad. THe big three can get you the 930 S steering wheel just give them a call. They have a lot more items then what you see on their website. I got both of my 930's from 928 Specailists, from the Porsche manufacturer. Real nice wheel , with a bit thicker padding and has the embossed Porsche Crest instead of the 359 hood badge.

And, had I known I could have purchased my 930 wheel at either 928 Specialists or 928 International, I would have done so in a heart beat. Shane is right, Both of these companies have a lot more for sale than you will find in the catalog (928 Intl) or on either web site. Nothing against AJUSA, they serviced my order just fine, My point is that I would always support the big 3 when ever I can. I have had exceptionally positive experiences with the two I have mentioned above.

Apparently, there's more than 'one' 930S wheel available: I'd recently checked prices @ Pelican (was $229, now $289), AJ ($385 with crest) and 928 Specialists ($400 with embossed crest, no separate hub, quoted to be 'OEM'). Not yet being certain what that says of the origins of the others, I have one needle in the leather, the other in my thumb as I combat the winter doldrums by restitching my wheel.
The 930S looks supurb in the "Gretch"!

Thanks to you all. Now I can do some comparison shopping!

I'll definitely call the big 3.

What do you think, gold or silver crest for a Silver/Blk car?
