...I like my 928 a lot and do not intend to go crazy with all the new HP. Like I said a few months ago, for me this project is all about "gee wiz", "good looks ", and an occasional "hoooooleeeeeee shiiiiiite"........

Let's see if you still feel that way once it's underfoot.

One damn big 10.9 hardness bolt... The amount of force required to remove and tighten it leaves one with no doubt as to its capabilities.

Yes, I am reminded once again that Bravado is the most expensive form of entertainment............

Isn't California BROKE beyond belief?

WTF am I missing?

I'd love to move there, but the more I learn about that state, the farthest west I'll ever move is Las Vegas.
It's not a DynoJet type dyno.... just rollers that put a load on the car. I think it's about $10K.

SOCAL? I'm insulted.... I'm guessing you didn't really mean it that way. I remember in the 70's there was talk of splitting Northern & Southern California. Sounded like a great idea to me. While we water ration in Silicon Valley during drought, Socal A-holes hose off their driveways and keep their lawns green. The SF Bay and Delta are also in a very bad way because of all the water that gets taken away to keep the desert planet LA in water. Ugh.... I need to stop before I build up a real head of steam here...

Isn't the fault line pretty much taking care of that?

Actually the "smog dyno" is a $30,000 device with an annual service contract agreement for $3,000 - 4,000 per year . The balance of the required equipment adds another $20,000 or so . It is a VERY big business !

HEY!

You also need to make a distinction between the Massholes (generally found inside Rt. 128) and the gentle, sophisticated people found down here in God's Country!
