Default Record # of 928s at AZ PCA Race

We had a great weekend at the Arizona Region PCA club race. I've never seen so many 928s. I had two (my '79 Euro-hybrid track car and my wife drove our '83), Drew was there with his Euro S, Mike with his wite Euro S , Chad with his '87 (first track event, congratuations for a GREAT job), Rick with his red GT, and we met some new 928 folks.

Jill and Bill from Colorado drove their beautiful Cassisrot '87, and Mike Avitt and his #452 was there from California. Sadly it looks like Mike blew a head gasket and couldn't make the Sunday afternoon race.

So there were eight (or more), what a great showing.

We did miss Don Hanson, his black machine would have been a great addition!!

Default Great Time!

I couldn't agree more. There was also a white S4 by turn 2?. I wonder who's that was?.

Great Time!

Yes, I forgot to mention Jim, who was stuck out working corners so his car could be seen as each driver rounded turn two! He wanted to go for a ride with me, but it looks like he couldn't get free time.

Why didn't I go? I had a million things to arrange this weekend or I would have made it too.

How is mike Avitt's engine?? are we sure its a head gasket??

remember, if its minor, Barr's stop leak can help and last the season!! I did this with my old engine and it worked well.

A major white cloud from the exhaust was observed by corner workers. Water was running out of the exhaust pipe after he came in. It wasn't minor.
