That doesn't look too good IMO but looks like it was done pretty custom to follow the angles of the door panel. If you're going to mess up the original door panel to mount a speaker like that, why not use a more normal looking round one or simulate the setup from the newer cars with a set of those door panels.
The installer also way over tightened it and caused the cracking damage on the door panel just where the speaker is located - either that or the thing is generating some serious heat.
I used a GT door panel with a spacer ring for the midrange to create enough rear clearance and made a mounting plate for the tweeter. I think my setup looks better than that, but people have different opinions so maybe others prefer this polygon look.
