Default HELP!! Random 928 engine bolt needed

This bolt has internal and external threads

I am in search of a random bolt feom an 82 928. There are three rubber insulators where the throttle housing mount. 1 insulator threads into the right head and one into the left. The third/center insulator threads into the head of a bolt and the bolt threads into the block. I need this bolt if anyone has one available. I can’t find it in any diagrams or PET ?? HELP!!

Ditto can't find this bolt/mount. Just trying to reassemble 16v S2, looks as if the bolt shouldn't have a slot or thread but has bonded rubber mount attached...?

maybe someone added the slot and hole. Is it threaded? (M6)

Air guide side of the mounting visible but no projecting stud which leads me to think bonded to bolt head on the block

Default Bolt

Hey... the bolt does have a threaded 6x1.00 hole in the top. After I removed the broken male threads from the bonded rubber piece, I was tapping the hole when the tap broke..☹️
I tried to cut a slot in the head of the bolt to try and remove the tap with a slotted screwdriver, but no luck..🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️

Hey... the rubber piece is threaded into the bolt.. yours is just broken off flush. If you can get some vice grips on it, you may be able to spin yours out.

Try this thread:

It's not really a bolt. It's a mount that has part broken off.

Readily available from the 'usual suspects'.

Helpful hint:

You can always call or e-mail Roger and ask for the 'thingy that attaches the doohickey to the whatchamacalit'.

He WILL know what you mean. He will likely have it in stock. He will also suggest that you get the gizmo that goes along with the thingy so you only have to order once.

Really.

Insert in the first picture is part of the block. Either get a used one from someone with a bad plug - get it made - or fill the hole with High Temp JB weld and insert the stud of the bummer into it.

Yes.
Tap the very top flat part with a chisel in the counter clockwise direction...should loosed the broken off part of the rubber mount enough to unthread it with your fingers.

Roger is correct. Not available as a separate part from the block.

Call 928 International and see if they have removed any of these from a junk block and saved them.....or they have a junk block laying around they can removed one from.

If they haven't.....I have....and can find you one.

Oops. Misunderstood exactly what part it was.

However, Roger did know exactly what it was.

Worked a treat thanks Joe and Greg. I had one of the front mounts which I'd too short but fit the rear position perfectly
