I believe that one is true. Many sources and quotes on-line.

The way I read it, it was the inspiration of 928 rear to rear design of the iMAC. Again, it might be a myth.

I enjoyed the video, and Mike seems to be a good guy that sincerely likes the 928, for all the reasons I do.
I appreciate any good PR created from the video as well.

I hate to nitpick, but there's still this connotation that the car sat for 15 years and he saved it from a languishing death.
I know it's a more interesting story that way, but the car was recently and well sorted by the PO.
Sorry, but the seller is a fellow rennlister and a friend. I just felt the need to put it out there.

Cool video, thx for sharing!

The Seat/ M falcon design story has been going around for years.
i don’t think they were referring to the pilot/co-pilot seats, it was the rear of the M Falcon.
The seats and the pads lining the halls of the ship look just like the “pads” on our seats.

Tried to dig up a clip, this is about the best I could find...

The iMac design came after the 928 per Jobs mandate. He drove a 928 at the time. It's well documented

This guy keeps following my car interests. I bought a 69 Charger back in 1983 and a 928 2011.
