Default 928 Rack rebuild

Well Guys and gals,
I have the rack outta the car and am just going through the proccess of tearing it apart, I dont have the ends off, yet to make the tool, but I have the rest of it apart and everything else shows very little wear and the seals look fine, although i know where it was leaking and I havent hit that part yet,

i have taken a few photos, and I will be posting them on my site and telling people who have tech pages to upload them and use them at free will,

I do have a question though, I was refered to TransTech for a rebuild kit, I have sent them 2 e-mails and there has been no reply, I have waited over a week, should I call? or are they just really busy? also to anyone who has bought the kit what was the price?

T Colvin, I have the rack still half apart and it is seeming to be very easy to do just you have to make up the special tool which I havent done yet,

Brendan, did you have to call them to get the kit, I have e-mailed them 2x and neither time have I heard any responce, if I dont hear from them tomorrow I may call but cross border calling is expensive and I would rather put that money towards parts,

I have always called them lizard. Big companies rarely respond to email, in my experience. Get yourself one of those international calling cards for calling these guys, 928intl, devek, 928 spec, etc.

Sterling,

Thanks for speaking up. I will let Lizard have first right of refusal. Will your kit fit my model year?

T Colvin, I have already spoken for it and will be getting it off sterling, as per the tool, it is exactly like a coil over height adjustment tool with the center diameter being 2" and the little "tongue" being just a hair under 1/4"

oh and T Colvin as per the pics, i am going to be taking pics during the reinstall process and the replacement of the seals, I can if you wish also take movies with sound and put them on a cd and mail it to you for cost of shipping but it is probably going to be another week or 2 to get it done.
