Default 1986.5 Vacuum Line Routing

Hi Can anyone help me out with images of how to properly run Vacuum lines for an 86 928. I had tried to uses the images on the hood of the car and was told it wasn't run right.

Any help would be great!

Thank You,
Mike

Does anyone have a picture of the dampers and FPR line layout and approximate size.
Seth?

Alright mike92, here are photos of my 1986.5 before I took her apart. She ran like a top, so I am going to assume the routing was correct.(enough)

Also, let me lead in with this factory diagram of the vacuum and fuel line routing on the engine:

#3 is one damper
#3a is the other damper
#8 is the FPR
#9 is the fuel cooler
#10 is the 7-way vacuum splitter
#11 is the throttle body
#13 is the thermal vacuum switch for the vacuum valve for fuel tank ventilation
#12 is the diverter valve for the AIR pump
#14 is the vacuum valve for fuel tank ventilation
#15 is the control valve for fuel tank ventilation
#16 is the ISV assembly
#17 is the vacuum booster venturi assembly

I will post this while I find the rest of the photos to post. This will get you started.

OK mike92, this quickly degenerated into a data-dump of photos. I figured you can pick through the photos and look for details that will help you.
Good Luck!!!
The diagram I posted above gives you what is supposed to be connected to what, but it isn't as helpful for the actual routing and positioning. That is why I posted ALL these photos. You should be able to figure out the routing you need.

Seth, if you are trying to take over the "Has pictures of everything" title from Rob...

You've made a good start.

Your OCD is showing nicely.

Wisconsin Joe, Yeah...I was afraid the photos might be a bit much. However, in my defense, I took them for just such a reason. I wanted alot of photos showing as many details as possible for what goes where when I put the Red Witch back together.

OP needed photos of fuel and vacuum line routing. I thought this would help him with alot of details. Maybe too much...

You are quite welcome, Stan!

No, I think you took me too seriously.

Rob is amazing at having pics of everything.
Any time anyone needs a pic of anything, Rob is the one who will have it.

Your thoroughness in taking pics of what you do is also very cool.
Your willingness to dig through your pics to find and post the ones to help the OP is really helpful.

Far, far, far better to have 'too many' pics of the details he needs than one or two that may not (probably won't) be adequate for the OP to figure out what he needs.

This sort of thing is what makes the community on here so awesome.

Sorry, I was trying to be lighthearted about the post. I understood you.

That was my intent. Only a couple of photos would not have really helped the OP. Hence, data-dump.
I agree about too many photos. He can pick and choose what images are useful to him.

Oh yeah, I am VERY aware of Rob's prowess. I didn't comment, because I don't want him to put a hit out on me for being competition.

Exactly. I vividly remember being a newbie and having no idea what I was doing. People took time to help me and explain things. I try to give back and do the same for anyone.

Thanks!

Oh...

So it was ME who took you too seriously.

Duh.
