No limited slip diff on that car, at least not from the factory.

I think there will be a point in the not too distant future where the 928 community will be restoring cars that just a few years ago were given up for as parts donors. I have three complete 1984 S cars I purchased for $1,000/each a few years ago and am slowly gathering what I need to get the first one on the road while working on other P-cars as well.
I realize it's an apple to orange comparison, but look at what's happened with the 911 over the past years. Now that the average guy can't afford an air cooled 911, they've start drifting towards the 928, 944 and 924.

Thanks for all the help with options and past smog/registration info. I will be taking possession here in the coming week or so. I will update with pics once I get it.
No fire before, this was a body kit someone tried to make and butchered the car in the process.
The seats do seem to look fairly well, majority is dust for sure but who knows what lies underneath.

Good luck...all 3 of mine were in this kind of shape, now all 3 run and 1 of them actually drives and is street legal! If you have the time and willingness to either restore or part out, we all benefit. Thanks for sharing, look forward to updates!

I would store the parts for future Projects but I´m a farmer and have way to much room in my barn.
If you have a lift parting the car isn t a Problem.
I payed for a bent 86.0 parts car with clean body in running condition 10.000 €. The dual Clutch with all Assembly cost a Little fortune and a good Transmission also.
But I have a good 85 S Shell.

the radio is probably worth more than anything on the car.
