I have 147,000 miles on my shark, and I'm repainting it next year. Just upgradingto H4, going to get a front spoiler and bellypan and still think I have another 20 years to get out of her. Mileage means nothing to me on these sharks, its only something to worry when buying a 911.

As long as you take care of your shark it will take care of you and put a big smile on your face daily. Almost better than a BJ.

There's some shyster on eBay selling one with over 300,000 miles on it... Carfax says the car had 296,000 miles on it in April of 2000, and his odometer says 68,000, so I guess we are looking at 368,000 (or 468,000?) on that one.

324000km.

Last dyno-test (6 months ago) looked like it had just left the factory.

I'm sure there must be cars with much higher milage that the 296 000 miles or 470 000kms we've got now.

I personally know 2guys with BMW's with more than 800 000kms on the clock.

Reminds me of a client I had in Denver, who traded in his BMWs as soon as they reached 250,000 miles. This normally took him eighteen months. He owned gas stations at opposite ends of Colorado, and basically spent his life driving between them. As always, in my experience with high freeway-mileage cars, they ran flawlessly - his service records showed nothing but oil-changes and new wiper blades.
