Mary is actually ready to start shipping, this next week.

I wrote installation instructions last week. Ordered (and received) multiple tools required to locate, drill, and tap the required holes. (Each set of baffles comes with $20 worth of tools to do this, so no one has to go out and "find" this stuff.)

Short of me flying to your house and doing this job for you guys, everyone should be good to go!

Hello,
Everything is back on the car with all cam covers vents fitted with Greg’s new cam covers battles. I’m gently driving the car again after one year, because of all staff I reworked.
so far, I just did some excursions other 6000rpm. Difficult here in France to sustain 6000rpm on open roads with all these radars around!!! looking forward trying that on track!!!
So far, from the aft drivers side vent, NO EVIDENCE of any drop of oil coming out!

the baffles are simple and were quite simple to install too. Greg’s instructions are very clear and provided tools works great. Only thing to be careful with: don’t hesitate to drill depth enough to tap correctly each hole. This advice is in Greg’s instructions but I missed that on the first hole!

Great staff!!! I will provide more feedback after more intensive use!

These pieces, in addition to our crankcase oil separator, are designed to help with the oil ingestion problem. It would be truly amazing if we could add a couple of hundred dollars worth of pieces and cure all the oil ingestion issues on all engines.

I'm not going to pretend that is possible.

As we found with our original crankcase ventilation system, some engines are too badly worn to stop all oil from getting into the intake. Additionally, some engines are used "harder" than others and require additional pieces to completely eliminate oil getting into the intake system.

I do know that these pieces significantly help (and in some situations do cure) oil ingestion.....and I appreciate any and all feedback of individual results.

Well said Greg. I think people also need to realize every car ever made has this issue, and new cars are actually worse, especially those with direct injection.

People with DI engines are adding separators and other devices like catch cans to keep oil out of their intake tracts, and without fuel spraying on the valves it's a much bigger issue with build-up.

That's interesting and makes total sense. Without fuel washing off the oil, it seems like it could "stick" more.

I'm so busy concentrating on my own little "928 world" that I don't ever pay attention to what is happening in the rest of the automotive world.

Oil companies are coming out with Direct Injection specific oils with different formulations they claim will help prevent build-up.

Local shop has a couple customers with Audi's that have the Lamborghini V10 installed. After so many miles they take the intake off and clean everything up from all the build-up, which can actually cause a check engine light.
