Beautiful car! I think that will be tricky, the early cars are not in the database that Rob Edwards uses for the newer cars to determine the number of cars with specific options.
You might try calling PCNA at 912-261-1387 and/or the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta at 888-204-7474 if you are in the U.S.. If in Europe, try the factory itself and ask for the archives department. You never know what you will find out, and keep us posted.

I'd love to know how many of each color combination were made of the various models. Have never been able to find that information publically, at least on the early cars.

I know it's very difficult trying to find out the exact number of cars painted in different colors. I think Porsche lost their early archives at some point, but I'll try to reach out anyway.

A good friend found this car in Spain. I believe it was sold new in Germany. When found in Spain the car was painted red so it was put right again this summer - to cashmere (it's original color). I find the late 70's colors very appealing. Some would hate them but I love them

A good friend found this car in Spain. I believe it was sold new in Germany. When found in Spain the car was painted red so it was put right again this summer - to cashmere (it's original color). I just acquired this car and it's getting serviced and some minor other stuff as we speak. Like restoring the original Pascha seats (brown/black). The seat bottoms have seen some wear so we're just getting them restitched mainly. All the fabric is intact. Cruise control works(!!), and so does the clock (!). Original radio is still in the car as well as the luggage cover. It's got around 66.000 miles on it and there's even a bunch of stamps in the service records. Seems to have been driven some 2,000 kms yearly for many years by an older gentleman. Car is straight and runs smoothly and strongly. Gearbox is one with LSD (overhauled) and the matching gearbox is also there (although it needs some attention). Will post some more pictures later. I love this funky little car. I find the late 70's colors very appealing. Some would hate them but I love them

Wow, had to replace my drool bib twice! Thats a killer interior... Be careful with it though, sometimes they are fragile just because of the age.
What is this lurking in the background? Huh? C-mon, what is hidden there?

Love the cashmere color. You have a wonderful survivor. Mine is a 78 with Moccabraun exterior but we share the same interior. Your interior is in amazing shape. I've got a few tears, but it's still salvageable. Look forward to seeing more about your car in the future.
