What's the difference between the 8 volume set and the 9 volume set?
The nine volume set I have now has grey binders. Set on Ebay has maroon binders. Any significance?

$300.00 for even the eight volume set is a "STEAL"!

8 vol. set covers MY '78-'93. Older sets are maroon, newer sets are grey.

The Buy It Now went away when the first bid went in. It'll be interesting to see how much MORE than the Buy It Now they go for.

I paid $537 for the 9-volume maroon set and it was worth every penny! (even though I paid more than everyone else did)

How can you say that it was worth every penny, when you can buy the scanned in version for the fraction of that price (~$40usd)?

It is just as good as the 9 volume paper set and it's a hell of a more compact. Not even mentioning the fact that it's a new technology that delivers the same product.

Imo000 I have to disagree. I have it on CD and then bought the Gray set for $450 two weeks ago. I like being able to flip through the manual looking for what I need. The CD is nice in a pinch but no way a complete substitute.

I agree with Hacker. I had the JM version on cd for a few months before I bought the maroon set. The cd is great for taking on the road, but it's not a substitute.

I disagree with both of you (Beth/Hacker).

If you want the paper version of the CD, all you need to do is print it out.

Either way, it will be alot less than $400.

I can't imagine it to cost more than $100-$200 to print the whole CD this includes the ink and the paper too.

Its about 2,500 sheets. Not sure if that is the red or gray set. It may be cheaper to print your own. I don't care, I like my manuals!

Item was taken off. I offered the guy $350 but he said he wanted to let it bid out. Wonder what someone gave to get him to take it off?

The item isn't taken off, ebay is having problems.
