Coffee break's over, back on your heads...
Tire choices depend on a few factors, What car do you have, what wheels do you have, how do you use the car, and maybe what's you budget.
Share some info and benefit from the experiences of others with similar requirements.
I love my Michelin Pilot AS3's on 17" Porsche rims on my S4. They handle great for a street tire on my stock S4, are extremely quiet especially considering the all-season capability, and have acceptable tread life. Historically less than $1200/set installed. I need to replace my PS2 fronts with the AS3's soon, as the old ones are way too old for any spirited driving. More than half the tread life left.

That is interesting, I have a set of AS3s and when you get down to 50% the rears(285/30-20) tend to loose their traction very easily with 510hp, even with traction control, and the fronts @ 60%+are getting ruff feeling. These were on my car when I bought it, never used those before and I am looking for something a little better. Do you have any experience with the PS4s?
Hope you are having a Happy Hump Day,
Dave

I have none with PS4's, and none with seriously worn AS3's. No worries about spinning the rear AS3's with 500+ ponies at least in my car and the way I drive. I chose them because of user reviews on Tire Rack and other reputable sites where they were at the top of the 3+ season heap in comfort, quiet, and traction. Moving to central Oregon adds some cold-pavement conditions the car very seldom saw from the base in SoCal. I drive it here until the state decides to add de-icer (magnesium chloride slurry) to the roads in the late fall, so there's just the cold pavement at the ends of my driving season. I don't drive it intentionally when it rains, and for sure it's well settled in it's climate-stable hibernation zone by the time snow arrives. So I'm not looking for any real snow performance and look at wet pavement normally within the capability of the summer-only Pilot Sports. For where you live in the deepest darkest wilds of the southeast, the PS4's would top my candidate list.
