Cool to know a kit is out there for removing the stock lights, and mounting projectors...
But I still think the stock look is nicer.
But I *do* happen to like the "dual gunport" version.
I just don't like the single projector setups.
Maybe it's something about the irregular shape of the inset where the headlight resides.
It just throws off the symetrical lines of the car...

From Porscha UK's website:
Those are regular freeform lights, and they would have to be glassed in.
Not what I'm looking for.

H4's on Ebay
If they are as he states, could be a good deal.
Anthony Tate
79/928 Silver Metallic
(H4's and I like em)

SharkSkin,
Isn't Ebay cool??
I guess I don't undertsand. Those were Bosch 7" H4's that went for $175.
You can get Hella's for around $40. What's the difference?

They had their own cage, for the cover to attach to. Definately 8", but they are missing a rubber boot for the back I think.
They look a little different that the 'new' 8" H4s, which have an additional o-ringed sealing plate which covers the back of the bulb.
...
I saw this, which I thought was interesting, over on the 924/944/951/968 forum: headlight upgrade
Matrix Racing
They were wining that they cost too much ($70 pair, too much?), but they do have glass lenses. If they made an 8" (yeah, right), I would be tempted to slap a HID conversion bulb in there and be done with it.

Sorry about that I just happened to log onto Ebay at the right time and place and couldn't pass them by!!! I've been searching for that exact upgrade ever since I bought my car.
I haven't heard anything from the seller yet though so.....

I think there are alot of us out here that have wished for more light for quite a while.
I have always wanted to remove the 35 pounds right on the nose that represents the headlights and assembly as they are now.
The look is always so aftermarket, I have stopped from fully taking the plunge.

Brendan,
I was talking about the factory 8" Euro H4's which were quickly bought off eBay.
I had previously installed a HID conversion kit for the H4 bulb inside the 8" H4's I bought from 928Spec.
I have not seen a bolt-on fender mount light conversion kit yet for sale.
Looks like it's 'buy some Hella 90mm units and make 'em fit time' (University of Illinois).
I would rather find one already made, though.
