Default Time to let her go...

Finally resigned that am never going to heel and toe again.
Having a cool 5 speed just doesn't make sense.
Thought I would give the first opportuninty here.

My 94 928 GTS, Iris Blau Mettalic, 5 speed is for sale.

If someone here is really interested will list details.
Otherwise I just can't bring myself to yet.
Was offered $70K a few years ago and turned it down
because there wasn't any other car I wanted.

Added a price below.

GLWtS - That's a very rare and awesome color; 1 of 4 iris blue GTS' in North America I believe.

Sorry to read about your foot issues in the other thread. Sucks that you feel the need to sell your car because of it but I understand after reading. Beautiful car. I hope someone here steps up and keeps it in the "family".

Saddened to read about your situation- is an auto model an option to keep you in the family as it were?

Wishing you well no matter the outcome

Sorry that this is happening to you. Hopefully, you'll be able to get a well sorted shark with the proceeds from this stunning one (or maybe even a few - your current car should fetch top dollar). Anyway, GLWS.

Without a doubt one of my all-time favorite 928's, LOVE Iris Blue!

Just me, but hard to assimilate the concept of "heel and toe" superceeding all the other reasons for having /enjoying a 928, much less this GTS. As a long time Rlister, I'm sure you didn't reach this decision lightly. GLTS.

The color combo is why I initially bought the car. Tried for two weeks to talk myself out of it. Eventually decided that color combo would never come up for sale again. As Michael Wilhoit said when he sold it to me, I paid a premium for it's uniqueness. One of 3, and believe it is the only 94 Iris Blue Metallic 5 speed in USA. It also had most of the things I would have added, Externally Adjustable Koni Reds, Hypercoil Springs, Devek Adjustable Front Anti-swaybar. All I had to add was Ott Adjustable Rear Drop Links, and a larger rear balanced Brake Proportioning Valve to tune the handling to perfection.

Whomever gets it will be getting a great car. It has a freshened up motor with GTS Cams, Devek Headers, Custom X-pipe, Race Cats, resonators, RMB, and Shark Tuner.

Can no longer enjoy a traditional manual transmission, and feel someone should.

So what's the asking price and the mileage on the car? Agreed, one of the best of the breed.

It was upgraded to GT (no-S) cams, correct?

Although there are some quirks, I enjoy having a manual again after installing a clutch booster.

Not sure what my price is right now. Turned down $70 4 years ago. At that time Wilhoit said he thought $72 would be good from both buyer and seller.
The Harerty prices are about 15K more now than they were then.

It has 72,000 miles. 1000 miles ago drilled the piston oil scraper grooves relief holes. Refreshing rings, bearings, gaskets etc. Pistons and cylinders were within specs. Only wear was rings and bearings.
Tought I would recover from the nail when I had it done.

Put in GT cams. Talked to a lot of people and consensus was GT as most aggresive and still keep the factory springs and valves without issues.

olmann, welcome any time. Work from home and am there except around lunch Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

If you want to call and ask questions or just chat, four o five, eight 1 nine, 5 three o five.
