The EZK relay coil is fed from ignition switched 12v via a bridge link associated with the alarm system.

Bridge the alarm plug (behind the glovebox, 85-86 pictured).

Also check that pin 85 relay coil is ground.

Bridge Link? This car has an alarm system?

That's behind the glove box? Is it connected to something? Bridge it as shown in the picture.

Honestly I'm not sure because the car is a 3 hour drive away from my home. You can see it in the video from my previous post. It says Putter and Bloomfield on it.

i don’t know how to reply to both you and PorKen in a single go.

but for anyone with an s4 or later car exhibiting the same issue(s) that may be reading this thread in the future, how much different is the “jumper” set up and would they still check the same relay point for ground? although I am not really following which bit to check for ground.

Another thought, if I jump the XVI EZF relay with a wire, would that allow the car to start? Or do I need to address the lack of a 12v going to the relay to properly start it? Cause all I car is getting it running and driving it home and I'll address all the issues at home.

'85 US = yes. Not sure about others. I don't see in your post where you are located, but I'm speed reading and too lazy to go back and pick. If I may suggest that you put all pertinent details on your car and location in your sig line, it would help going forward.

Ok I got the car to start, but the way I did it is terrible. At first I bypassed the EZF relay and nothing started cause no fuel pump, so I bypassed that as well and now it starts. I found a wire not plugged into anything that puts out power when the key is on and just Jerry rigged that to the relay sockets as a test. Starts now but I have no idea why no power to EZF and fuel pump relay sockets. There's full time power and ground but nothing else. I figure the EZF relay isn't getting power from the ignition, so maybe ignition switch? The fuel pump relay is suppose to get power from the LH injection module, so that has me worried. Rich tested the LH module to be fine, so I hope he didn't miss anything.

Any thoughts on what I need to look at?

Have you verified that the CE Panel is the correct part number?

From post 7 above
If your CE panel was replaced, make sure the replacement is from the same year. They may look the same, but there are a lot of differences.
Find the part number for your CE panel and post it back here. Do you have the original CE panel laying around to compare the part number? I think your cars should have part number 928.610.105.09, from the 928 intl web site.

Supposedly a Porsche dealership in the past had changed that panel, so it should be correct. **Should Be**

I really would like to know why you have power and ground but no signal to those two relays!!!

But to answer one of your questions, actually Porken already did above, there is an alarm. On my s4 the module is behind the glovebox, I assume that yours is also. Remove it and disconnect an HVAC tube behind that and then you should see the module all by itself if you look up.

My understanding is If door, trunk, or hood alarm sensors fail in the right way the alarm will lock down important ignition capabilities, so that may be it, IDK.

So there are three sensors that if any of them fail it prevents the car from starting? Do you know in what way like preventing the fuel pump and ignition module? I guess I'll have to remove the glovebox and take a good look. Also last time I was there the wipers and windshield sprayer worked and now it doesn't, so I wonder if that's related? I ordered a new air filter and oil filter for the car for next time, but what weight oil should I use? I've Google's 5w-50 to 15w-50.
